About Us -

 

Branch 135  received its charter in 1928 and is a proud and vibrant member of the town of Beaverton, Ontario.  Since its inception, the Beaverton Branch has contributed  through many different volunteer programs to the community and the surrounding area.

· The RCL is a non-profit, dues-supported, and receives no financial assistance from any outside agency

 

· Since inception in 1926, RCL strives to secure adequate pensions and benefits for veterans and their dependants, dealing directly with the  Federal Government

 

· Poppy funds collected are used for assistance to veterans, ex-service members and their families who are in need within our community

 

· The RCL  supports programs for seniors, community, housing, Long Term Care, youth, education, sports, Cadets, Guides and Scouts in Beaverton

 

· With over 358,000 members, RCL is one of Canada's largest community based service organizations contributing millions of dollars and volunteer hours
